Camping at Grue Finnskog
The motorhome camp is new and is located at Idrettsplassen at Svullrya, and is run by Grue Finnskog Idrettslag. The pitches are spacious and covered with artificial turf. In the area there is a separate common fire pit.

Description
Grue Finnskog and Svullrya are the heart of Finnskogen. Here you can experience the nature and mystery of Finnskogen, with lakes and ponds and with good hunting and fishing opportunities. Around the parking lot there are many great trails for those who like to cycle or go hiking. It is also recommended to take a leg in Finnskogleden, a 230 km long trail which runs on both the Norwegian and Swedish sides.
At Grue Finnskog there is a lot of activity all year round, and during the summer months Finnskogdagene is held on the 2nd weekend in July each year, where they proclaim their own republic, auctions, exhibitions and markets are held. In addition to this, Finnetunet with old Finnish building customs, smokehouse and other typical Finnskog buildings, Åsta Holth museum, poet's trail and Finnskoghagen is worth a visit. Svullrya and Grue Finnskog are considered the centre of Finn culture in Eastern Norway.
