Vinger Hotell is centrally and discreetly secluded in a private park in Kongsvinger, with fantastic views of the city, Kongsvinger Fortress, Glomma and part of Finnskogen.
Vinger Hotel was built in the early 1930s. It was already a beautiful magnificent building that housed, among other things, Vinger municipality's town hall until the merger of Vinger and Kongsvinger municipality in 1957.
Today, the hotel appears as a business hotel with large conference facilities in pleasant surroundings.
Vinger Hotel has long traditions with a good kitchen. Dinner can be enjoyed in one of the hotel's distinctive restaurant or party rooms. Vinger Hotel has a lot of art, sculptures and paintings. The most famous and distinctive painting can be found in restaurant Grillhaven with a view of the fortress. The beautiful mural tells a lot about Kongsvinger's famous people from a long time ago.
