Odal Canoe & Leisure offers canoe rentals in the Odalregion. They have stations at Sand and at Kalvhella in Nord-Odal, with immediate proximity to the sea. Here you can transport the canoes straight down to beautiful Storsjøen, which has countless opportunities for paddling.
They rent out 8 canoes of the type Mackinaw 156 and 2 canoes of the type Femund II. 6 canoes stand at Sand and 4 canoes stand at Kalvhella in Austvatn. This is a type of canoe that is perceived as extremely stable due to a flat bottom and one meter width. You can paddle in this canoe with three adults. It's also perfectly fine to paddle alone. The seats are ergonomic and they contain practical bottle holders, cold compartments and a waterproof compartment for valuables.
