In the middle of the forest in a clearing there are some old and beautiful houses. The villa and Huka are their names and are testimony to a forester community that once existed here. Then there's Skogheim, the forest workers' house. Here the guys came strolling with their axes over their shoulders at dusk, here the cook waited with dinner.
Food & Drink
They gladly serve five dishes with culinary experiences in a festive venue, and just as easily the same menu in the middle of the wilderness! Grilled wild boar, sour cream sour cream trout, baked deer fillet and red wine marinated moose roast.
Cafe Huka
Cafe Huka is a meeting place for locals and guests at Maarud Gaard Opplevelser. It serves everything from pork and dip, to Swiss cheese fondue and traditional moose carbonades!
