Gallery BJØRNEN - "The bear"
Nature photographer Kjell Ivar Wålberg has a small but very rich photo gallery with hundreds of animal photos of his own. The special thing about "Galleri BJØRNEN" is that it displays a number of exciting photographs that have been taken in the gallery's immediate vicinity. For example, you will find pictures of bears, wolves, wolverines, lynx and golden eagles taken within a circumference of a few hundred meters from the gallery.

Otherwise, most of the forest's wild animals are represented in the wilderness gallery, often in the form of unusual situations and in evocative surroundings. Some of the images have been created through the use of various forms of camera traps, others through direct meetings with the photographer. Wålberg works with both colour and black and white images.
Bears are Wålberg's favorite motif, including portraits of bears (no zoo bears!), and you will find a number of bear pictures in the wilderness gallery, many also from Sweden, but bears from Finland and Alaska are also represented.
Wålberg welcomes visitors by appointment, and in addition he has some "open days" in the gallery usually during summer time.
