Kongsvinger Fortress
Kongsvinger Fortress has a unique history. The fortress was erected in 1681 and has been of a great importance all the way up to 2009. Today you might experience the historic fortress through a museum, a restaurant, and a hotel. The majestic Kongsvinger fortress offers a fantastic panoramic view over the river Glomma. The fortress has never been conquered or seized yet been of an important strategic importance for the defence of Southern Norway.

The outdoor museum of Odalen - Odalstunet
Odalstunet has collected buildings and artefacts from all over Odalen since the museum was founded just after World War II. The buildings constitute a large farmhouse with both farmhouses, farmhouses and many outbuildings. At a safe distance from the other houses is the kjona and the smithy. In the forest we find the homestead and just beyond is the logger's hut. The museum area itself is open all year round, although the buildings are only open during events.

Writing cabin ‘Elvis Presley Boulevard’
When Levi Henriksen broke through as a writer, he also became known for his writing room in "Elvis Presley Boulevard", a joking name for a small road stump on Granli, on the outskirts of Kongsvinger. "Elvis Presley Boulevard" is an exhibition of Levi Henriksen's writing and writing environment, but also an actual writing room.

The museum on the fortress of Kongsvinger lies in the old house for supplies from 1682. You will find three exhibitions situated on three floors.
