Old Austvatn farm is a magnificent house with 460 m2, surrounded by 10 acres of lush garden with venerable old trees - right by the lake Storsjøen and the cultural trail in the forest. There are beautiful and prepared ski slopes and ice rink in the immediate vicinity on the ice, and lighted trails a short drive from the house at idyllic Trondsbu. Austvatn farm has snowkicks for loan, and when Storsjøen is iced, it is an experience to go out on the islands and have lunch over the fire. It is also idyll to light a fire pit on the farm at sunset.

Gamle Austvatn farm has been settled for over 2000 years, and was originally the main farm at Austvatn. Today, the barn is gone, and the field has been replaced with grass and large trees. The place is a natural gem by Storsjøen.
The property is surrounded by large green areas, with heated jacuzzi, swing, two barbecue areas (fire pit and large charcoal grill), volleyball net, outdoor table tennis table, a mini-football pitch and several seating areas.

The house has been beautifully renovated in 2018, and has large and airy rooms in light shades, one-strip oak parquet with water-borne heating and several living areas. Large kitchen for cozy and communal cooking, several living rooms, fireplace, TV and pool table on the two main floors.

The house is adorned with art by the artist Ivar Nordhagen, with figurative motifs from inland and Norway's nature. Most of the art is for sale by further agreement.
The house is equipped with Verisure fire protection system and burglar protection, with direct connection to the Alarm Receiving Centre.
Washer/dryer in the downstairs laundry room, extra fridge, as well as two newly renovated bathroom / shower room with access to jaccuzzi. (7 pers). Fiber (WiFi) inlaid.
